WizeUp checks how trustworthy a news story is. Paste or open a link, or just ask about a claim, and AI tells you what holds up, how credible the sources are, and how differently the left and the right are reporting it. HOW YOU CHECK SOMETHING • Open or paste a link in WizeUp, then tap Fact-check this article • Or type the claim into AI search and ask about it in plain language • Or tap any story in the news feed to see the analysis already done for it Checks run on the text of the page or on your question. WizeUp cannot read a screenshot or open a post inside another app for you. WHAT THE ANALYSIS SHOWS • Overall Trust Score, with a written explanation of why the story got that score • Bias distribution: how many of the analyzed articles lean left, center or right • Key facts, each with links to the sources they came from • The list of articles the analysis is based on, so you can read them yourself • Trust ratings per outlet, from Highly Credible to Low Credibility FACT-CHECKING NEWS FEED Daily trending stories, each analyzed by AI across multiple articles, sorted into decks: • Sketchy — viral stories that lack credible sourcing or were debunked by fact-checkers • Spicy — the same event told as two opposite stories by outlets on either side • Blindspot — stories one political side covers heavily and the other ignores • All and For You — everything, and a deck shaped by the topics you pick AI CHAT ABOUT ANY PAGE • Ask the AI about the article you are reading and keep asking follow-ups • One-tap prompts: Fact-check this article, Show political bias analysis, Rate credibility 1-100, Explain key takeaways • Answers stream in and are saved as threads you can return to • Requires a free account AI SEARCH • Ask questions in plain language instead of guessing keywords • Voice input, follow-up suggestions, and ready-made prompts for fact-checked news, media bias, politics, markets, tech and science • Classic engines are here too: Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Fulldive privacy search for web, images and video A FULL BROWSER TO READ IN • Multiple tabs with thumbnails, plus private tabs that leave no history • Reader mode for distraction-free articles • Dark mode for web pages, desktop site mode, find on page, print • Popup blocking • Download manager with pause, resume and delete • Browsing and search history you can clear at any time • Home screen search widget, and WizeUp can be set as your default browser SAVE WHAT YOU VERIFIED • Spaces: bookmark collections you create, organize and share • Notes attached to any page • Follow RSS sources and websites and turn them into feed tabs • Comments on trending stories, with an anonymous option, plus profiles and following • Breaking news and personalized alerts, with four levels including off WIZEUP AI PRO (OPTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION) Free accounts get a limited number of AI requests per feature. AI Pro removes those limits and unlocks additional AI models. It is offered as a monthly or annual subscription through Google Play, and a free trial may be available. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in Google Play at any time. GOOD TO KNOW • Trust scores, bias analysis and fact-checks are generated by AI. They are a starting point for your own judgement, not a verdict — always read the linked sources. • AI features send your question or the text of the page you are reading to our servers for processing, and require an internet connection. • WizeUp uses analytics (Firebase and Mixpanel) to understand how the app is used.
