An unused-space wipe writes to available storage to help reduce accessible remnants of earlier files. ERASURE METHODS FOR DIFFERENT TASKS Choose from the overwrite methods available in your edition, including single-pass and multi-pass options and methods such as DoD 5220.22-M. ANDROID STORAGE AND PRIVACY Available targets depend on Android permissions, device support and edition; supported SD cards can be processed where accessible. Results depend on encryption and flash storage. App-level overwriting cannot guarantee access to every physical flash cell. Cloud backups and copies on other devices must be managed separately.
