Every ritual in our gathering is some form of an ancient ritual begun either with Jesus or the early church. It looks, smells, sounds, feels different, but it connects to deeply-rooted intentions for gathering together to be shaped into the body of Christ. What does each of these practices say about the postures, desires, beliefs of the early church? How do they shape us today? In this seven week series leading up to Advent, we'll look at these questions and more.
