This system allows the shooter to select standard semi-automatic operation or semi-automatic operation with a progressive forced-reset mechanism, enabling exceptional trigger pull speed while maintaining full control, consistent ergonomics, and one trigger pull per round fired. Important safety information is provided below under Operating Limitation. 3-Position Selector: Safe (S) / Semi (1) / Forced Reset (F) The X-PRT 90 utilizes a proprietary 3-position selector engineered specifically for the PS90 platform: Safe (S) — Mechanical safety blocks trigger movement. Semi (1) — Standard PS90 semi-automatic operation. Forced Reset (F) — Progressive reset functionality is available when the trigger is pulled fully through the activation range. Partial trigger pulls in this position behave as standard semi-automatic fire. Distinct detents and defined selector travel provide clear tactile feedback and consistent handling. Semi-Automatic Operation with Selectable Forced Reset The X-PRT 90 is engineered around the PS90’s unique fire-control geometry to deliver predictable performance across selector positions: Standard semi-automatic operation — Conventional trigger function with one pull per shot. Forced-reset operation — The trigger is mechanically driven forward after each shot when fully actuated, allowing faster follow-up shots while still requiring a separate pull for each round fired.
