joy-a-len kennels has been breeding quality bouvier des flandres since 1969. our first priorities are solid temperament and intelligence. all breeding stock are x-rayed. we are currently using penn hip because it gives an exact reading; therefore we can see which way our breeding program is going. because we are involved with agility, obedience, herding and carting sound hips are important.
