Advent is a season of endings and beginnings. As the calendar year comes to a close, a new church year begins - all the while, the world as we know it spins madly. Advent will be a time to rediscover what we need to move faithfully through this threshold. As we move through new personal and political chapters, we will find words for the beginning to renew us and remind us of the way we are called to offer grace and resist by the power of love.
