The current Android camera ecosystem requires a focal length limit of 999mm full-frame equivalent. CINEMA ASPECT RATIOS Frame in any standard cinema aspect ratio including 2.39:1, 1.85:1, 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, and more. A NOTE ON ACCURACY The sensor dimensions, focal lengths, and aspect ratios used in Kader Viewfinder are dynamically sourced from your device’s camera metadata to be as accurate as possible, and the field-of-view calculations are mathematically precise. However, due to the vast number of Android devices on the market — each with different camera hardware, lens configurations, and sensor characteristics — absolute pixel-perfect accuracy across every device cannot be guaranteed. Minor discrepancies may occur between the viewfinder preview and the true equivalent field of view. To account for this, Kader Viewfinder includes a focal length offset/calibration feature that lets you fine-tune the viewfinder to your specific device in 1mm increments. If you notice the framing is slightly tighter or wider than expected, simply adjust the offset until it matches a known reference.
