Distance Meter - AR Ruler 앱 분석 (11월 2일)

Distance Meter is a complete measurement toolkit: AR distance measuring plus 15 specialized tools in one app. Powered by Google ARCore, it detects your device hardware and selects the most suitable measurement engine for maximum accuracy. Leveling a shelf, measuring a room, estimating paint, or checking whether a box fits through a doorway — there is a tool for each job. [AR Spatial Measurement] • AR Distance — Tap to measure the distance to any point, with a live accuracy estimate. • Height Meter — AR height for people, furniture, doors, and buildings. • Width & Height — Get both in a single session. • Area Calculator — Mark corners to measure floor area, wall space, or any surface. • Volume Meter — Width, depth, and height in three guided steps. Ideal for boxes, cabinets, and luggage. [Sensor & Assist Tools] • Bubble Level — Circular spirit level with 3D liquid and bubble animation. • Clinometer — Slope gauge covering 0° to 180°, with slope percent and ratio. • Plumb Bob — Gravity-based digital pendulum for vertical alignment. • Protractor — Touch and sensor based angle measurement, 0° to 180°. • Screen Ruler — On-screen ruler in cm and inches, with card-based calibration. • Frame Checker — Camera based alignment for frames, TVs, and shelves. [Calculation & Planning] • Room Measurement — Floor, wall area, perimeter, and volume in one calculation. • Wall & Materials — Subtract doors and windows, then estimate paint and wallpaper. • Space Fit Checker — Test every rotation of an object against a doorway before you move it. • Round Object Meter — Diameter, circumference, cross-section area, and capacity. • Multi-segment Path — Add up cable, pipe, and curved route segments. [Smart Measurement Engine — 4 Tiers] Your device is automatically matched to the highest tier it supports. • Premium (Hardware Depth) — ARCore Depth with camera depth-output capability; confidence varies by device and scene. • High (Depth API) — Depth-assisted ranging with live signal-quality checks. • Standard (ARCore) — Plane and feature tracking with live signal-quality checks. • Basic — AR distance measurement is unavailable; planning and sensor tools remain available. [Accuracy Technology] Several strategies are fused with confidence weighting: depth image, raw depth with confidence map, plane, point cloud, and anchor sampling. Outliers are removed and points are re-read from ARCore anchors as the map refines, so results stay stable while you move. Five conditions are monitored while you measure: tracking, lighting, surface detection, feature points, and camera stability. A live indicator shows measurement confidence before you tap; it is not a guaranteed error bound. [Key Features] • AR distance measuring plus 15 tools in one app • 4-tier AR engine (Hardware Depth → Depth API → ARCore → Basic) • 6 units: meters, centimeters, feet, inches, yards, millimeters • Measurement history with auto-save and undo • Sound and vibration feedback • Grid overlay and level indicators • Dark and light mode with a clean one-tone design • Home screen widget, status bar shortcut, and offline measuring [Tips for Accurate Results] • Ensure good lighting • Move your device slowly during initialization • Keep a steady hand — stability directly affects accuracy • Measure textured surfaces (avoid mirrors, glass, plain white walls) • Optimal AR range: 0.5m to 5m [Disclaimer] Measurement results are estimates based on AR technology and device sensors. Actual values may vary by device, environment, and conditions. This app is not intended for professional surveying or safety-critical applications.
