Description Yuko Yoshida has found that introducing small changes to a braid structure can produce a curl to the braid. She shares her processes on how she came to create these beautiful braids. Her instructions are well written and illustrated with several photos of the finished braids. There are seven braids for the marudai. About half the book centers on a takadai braid called "Konoha" or "Leaf Braid." Instructions for the basic braid, as well as several variations, are given. Following this is a section on making the Konoha braid on the marudai, along with some amazingly beautiful variations, with full instructions.
