Dron Alerts shows what is flying over Ukraine and where it is heading: on the map, in notifications and by voice. Alongside it — official air raid alerts by region (oblast) and district (raion).
The app's interface is in Ukrainian.
Threat map
• Shahed and other drones, missiles, ballistic missiles, guided bombs (KAB), reconnaissance drones and aircraft — each target with its own marker, and its direction of travel whenever the course is known.
• Official alerts highlighted on the map by region and district.
• Tap a target to see its type, its distance from your home and whether it is holding course towards you.
• Search for any city or village on the map.
Your home and your places
• Mark your home, your parents' place, your work — each with its own radius. Two places are free, up to 10 with PRO.
• The main screen tells you what to do right away — calm, stay alert, get ready to take shelter — and lists the nearest targets.
• If a target is heading for your place, the app shows an estimated arrival time.
Notifications
• Push notifications about targets near your places and about the official alert in your district or region — even when the app is closed.
• Voice notifications (in Ukrainian): your phone says out loud that a Shahed, a missile or a ballistic missile is nearby, and when it is all clear.
• With the app open, a voice reads out the target type and the time until it arrives.
• You decide what to receive: threat types, minimum confidence, alerts for your district or the whole region.
• A test button sends a sample notification, so you know it works.
• Siren on silent (Android, opt-in): up to 30 seconds, only for an official alert at your home.
• Separate siren volume and a distinct alert vibration.
How fresh the data is
While the app is open, the map refreshes every 30 seconds, and every 8 seconds when a target is already near your place or closing in on it. The main screen shows when the data was last updated. If an update is late, the app says plainly that the data may be behind, and with no connection it says so. Out-of-date data is marked as such, never shown as fresh.
Where the data comes from
Targets on the map come from open sky-monitoring channels. A marker appears when reports converge into one track; the more independent sources confirm it, the higher the confidence. The full list of sources is in the app: Налаштування → Джерела даних. Official alerts come from official air raid alert data.
Community and family
• Chat: a nationwide room and a room for your region, moderated. Community messages are not official alerts.
• Family and SOS: create a circle for your people; the panic button sends a signal to them only. It does not call emergency services.
• Night chronicle: how many target reports came in, hour by hour, and how close targets came to your home.
• Statistics: an hour-by-hour chart for your area and short 14-day summaries for your region — recorded history, not a forecast.
• Spotted a mistake on the map? Report it right from the app.
Light and dark theme — following your phone. Works on phones and tablets.
A light map for less powerful phones: a simple scheme, the same threats.
Free and PRO
The map with all markers, official alerts, the course towards your home, critical voice notifications, SOS and the family circle are free for everyone. The free version shows ads.
The PRO subscription is optional. It removes ads and adds quiet hours, smart notifications (wake you only when a target heads for your place; ballistic missiles always), up to 10 places with their own rules, detailed 30-day statistics, a night report, finding a target in the sky with the camera, and more. The subscription does not unlock any safety signal: those are the same for everyone.
Important
Dron Alerts is an information aggregator and is not an official air raid alert. The official signal is the siren and state channels. If you hear the siren, go to a shelter — do not wait for confirmation in the app.
