NavTrail is the app for off-road drivers and overlanders — forest roads, 4×4 trails, expeditions and camping trips. Offline maps, navigation, track recording and a trusted community. Free, with an optional NavTrail Pro subscription. ⚠️ IMPORTANT — NavTrail SOS is NOT an official emergency service. An SOS only alerts other NavTrail members near you. It does NOT reach the police, ambulance, mountain rescue or any official dispatcher. In a medical emergency or a serious accident, ALWAYS call 112 (or your local emergency number) first. ────────────────────────────────── 🗺️ OFFLINE MAPS • Download the areas you drive; the Standard map then works with no signal at all. • Online: Standard, Topographic, Overland, Satellite and Hybrid. 🛰️ GPS TRACKS • Records with the screen off; import and export GPX. • Keep your tracks in folders and back them up to your account. • Navigate to any point with instant re-routing, follow a saved track, or open it in Waze or Maps. • Plan a route point by point — straight lines are free. 📍 COMMUNITY PLACES • Camping, springs, viewpoints, mountain refuges, tyre repair, guesthouses. • Add your own with a photo; others rate and comment. 🚧 HAZARD REPORTS (7 types, live) • Deep ruts, fallen trees, landslides, sheepdogs, forest barriers, bears, mud. • Drivers nearby see them within seconds; a report lasts 4 hours unless someone confirms it is still there. 🆘 COMMUNITY SOS • Stuck? Alert the members around you: winch, breakdown, fuel, first aid. Not a replacement for 112. 🚙 CONVOY (up to 8 vehicles) • Share a 6-character code and see everyone live on one map. • The leader leaves a trail at every fork; one-tap messages. 🤝 TRAVEL PARTNERS · PUBLIC TRACKS · BADGES • Post a trip or join one, and talk it through in the app. • Publish your tracks, browse the ones near you, follow other drivers. • Earn challenge badges and show them on your public profile. 📊 OFF-ROAD TOOLS • Inclinometer, barometric storm alert, tyre-pressure calculator. • Tonight's wind where you camp, soil conditions, fuel range, gear list. ⭐ NAVTRAIL PRO NavTrail Pro (optional subscription, with a free trial for new subscribers): off-road routes that prefer forest and dirt roads; route planning that follows the road, and Trail Check — what the data shows along your route, for your vehicle — with Detour to avoid a stretch; the mobile signal map with ANCOM's 2024 measurements and a warning before long stretches without signal; the NavTrail 4x4 map — our own off-road map with slopes, fords and dead ends, also offline; protected areas on the map, with a warning when you enter one; the Pro mark on your profile. These cover Romania for now.
