Picture the scene...it's a heatwave so you're hot and bothered, but you have tickets to an day festival in Hyde Park.   What do you wear as a fully fledged grown up that wants to be kind of cool, both physically and style-wise, but still age appropriate and stylish?? I had this exact dilemma last month when I went to Olivia Rodrigo at British Summertime in Hyde Park... After a lot of sweaty trying on I went for a white cotton midi skirt from Zara, black tank top from Next and fisherman style tan sandals from Marks and Spencer.   Accessorised with stacked gold jewellery, a crossbody waist bag and my gorgeous 15 year old ❤️   You can see from the smile on my face just how fun it was! The black waist bag I took is now sold out, but I wish I had taken a bigger one like the one below anyway.  Despite what BST said in their email, we could definitely have taken drinks in so I could have taken a larger bag to fit my gin in a tin in to drink in Hyde Park rather than on the Tube! Shop the waist bags here (all perfect for concerts and festivals)...   And of course I ❤️ a jewellery stack.   Layering a collection of interesting textures and shapes on top of a plain tank and adding statement earrings meant my simple outfit looked much more considered and stylish. I thought I'd feel old, out of place and boring (which as a very keen clubber in the 90s was a surprising way to feel!)    I couldn't have been more wrong, everyone was so lovely, the atmosphere was incredible and the age range, while having a lot of teen girls, was much more mixed than I anticipated.  So if you're worrying you're too old, and waht to wear as a grown up, I hope I've put your mind at rest!
