Nine years ago I caught a remarkably nasty cold along with my children whilst we were living in Sydney away from close family and friends. It was was what led to Feel Better Box in November 2015.  It was a slow burn to build up a little business from nothing to sending up to 7 care packages a day in 2019. With all the enthusism and belief in the world, I loved every single minute of trying to help Australia to feel better.  My biggest goal was to bring the word 'Care package' to the forefront of Australia's mind. And that I did come 2020. As they say 'be careful what you wish for.' The 2020-2021 lockdowns were a blur amongst thousands of care packages.  2022-2023 was finding the new normal and the aftershock and come down from such an intense time. Which leads me to 2024 of acceptence, go with the flow, this too will pass, there is nothing I can do except be there for you guys even when funds are low and spending is limited.  One of the things I love about my job is the gift cards I write on your behalf. There is nothing more humbling then words of support and love. I love your love. I get to feel your love every single day. And there is one type of gift card that really makes me smile. It's the ones on behalf of a workplace. It's when a workplace signs off - 'from your workplace family.' In someones time of need, that extra layer of famility support feels like a hug in a card before they even open the gift. I know some big wigs out there said you shouldn't think of your workplace as your family, I would like to refute that. When love, care and support is required, being a workplace family is what we all want to be a part of. I know I do. Don't we all?
