This product will soon be discontinued. The PSC1-002 is a laptop programmable signal calibrator with an internal 2 bar map sensor. It is programmed with the Split Second R4 engine management software. The PSC1-002 is specifically designed for use on engines controlled by map sensors. The internal 2-bar map sensor becomes the new map sensor for the engine and allows the engine to be tuned for boost up to 16 psi. The pressure reading and RPM determine the location in the internal map table. The cell values in the map table modify the reading of the internal 2-bar map sensor. The PSC1-002 is used on engines that have been converted to forced induction by the addition of a turbo or supercharger. It is used in conjunction with larger injectors. This unit can be special ordered with the data acquisition option. The R4 software included may have issues running on Windows 11. See the tech note "Run the R4 Software on Windows 11" for more information. Legal only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.
