Budburst appeared on September 25 and we moved seamlessly into the growing season. Other than some major wind events in early October, the vines progressed favourably and we finished our first round of shoot thinning by October 25. Mother Nature stepped in with a significant frost event on October 27 setting us back ,however we did see a very good flowering and fruit set this year. The frost surely took its toll on our Pinot Noir volume and we will make less this year. Rest assured the quality is outstanding. Hand-picked in ideal condition and ripeness between the 2nd - 4th of April. Whole bunch pressed, minimum settling followed by natural fermentation and aged on yeast lees for 10 months during which full malolactic fermentation occured.
