Plattformen entscheiden täglich darüber, wie sichtbar Gewalt ist – und wie gut Betroffene geschützt werden. Unser neues Policy Paper zeigt, wie große Online-Plattformen ihre Pflichten aus dem Digital Services Act (DSA) bislang unzureichend umsetzen, wenn es um (digitale) geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt geht. Auf Basis der Risikoanalysen nach Art. 34 DSA von Plattformen wie Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pornhub und XVideos analysieren wir zentrale Schutzlücken bei Risikoanalysen, Meldewegen und Kontaktstellen. Wir zeigen, warum geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt systematisch verharmlost wird, wie manipulative Designs Betroffene von Meldungen abhalten – und weshalb Gewalt im sozialen Nahraum weiterhin unsichtbar bleibt. Das Paper formuliert konkrete, feministische Empfehlungen zu Art. 12, 16, 34 und 35 DSA: für verbindliche Standards, intersektionale Risikoanalysen und Meldewege, die tatsächlich leicht zugänglich sind.
