pakistan institute of public finance accountants (pipfa) was constituted in the year 1993 jointly by three (3) sponsoring bodies of pakistan namely the institute of chartered accountants of pakistan (icap), the institute of cost and management accountants of pakistan (icmap) and the auditor general of pakistan (agp). pipfa is registered as a non-profit association under section 42 of the companies ordinance, 1984. as a full member of the international federation of accountants (ifac), pipfa has attained global recognition as an institution providing professional excellence to public accountants in pakistan. all the affairs of the institute are managed by a twelve (12) member board of governors (bog) comprising elected and nominated members. three (3) members are elected for tenure of three (3) years by the general body and three (3) members each are nominated by the sponsoring bodies’ i.e., icap, icmap and agp.
