“為什麼在瑜伽開始及完結時需要唱誦Om?”，這大概是每一個剛接觸瑜伽的人都會有/ 有過的疑問。本篇和大家分享一個必定會在瑜伽中出現的小知識 - Om，而當中有部分全無瑜伽經驗的人/ 剛開始接觸瑜伽的人士，未必知道它的意義及好處；即使練習了一段時間亦可能未有深究唱頌Om的意義，本篇就和大家一起分享它的神奇之處。OmOm是一個發音(梵文「ॐ」)，最早出現於印度教經典《吠陀經》中。古代的印度認為”Om”是宇宙萬物的起源，是宇宙第一個震動的聲音，它代表創造開始的源頭，萬物的基礎。Om有助幫助大腦放鬆、重設大腦注意力、減除雜念、舒緩情緒、令自己開始進入比較平靜的狀態、促使身心平衡、喚醒自身內在的力量從而產生能量、引領我們進入更高的靈魂層次並與宇宙連接。(*在科學的角度，科學家亦發現唱頌Mantra (*包括Om在內*)有令呼吸放慢、心跳平穩且緩和的作用。因此唱頌被認為對身心靈都很有益處。)許多瑜伽練習者認為“Om”是所有Mantra當中最有力量的，它可以產生強大而積極的振動，讓你感受到整個宇宙，亦是最能撫慰人心的一個Mantra。因此瑜伽練習開始和結束時都會唱頌Om (上一篇提到瑜伽課堂中練習者
