Learn aikido by seeing every technique from several angles. A technique is not always clear at first glance. Here, every movement is filmed from several viewpoints, slowed down, and shown again in close-up — down to the detail that makes the difference. 156 TECHNIQUES, 936 VIDEOS, THREE CLASSIFICATIONS • Techniques — the full set of videos, arranged by technique name • Attacks — the same videos, approached through the starting grip or strike • Progression by Kyu — 73 techniques following the grading syllabus One body of content, three ways in: by technique, by attack, or by kyu. UP TO THREE ANGLES Front, top, side. Depending on the technique, up to three viewpoints are available, and you switch between them with a single tap. Multiview brings them together on one screen. Slow motion and close-up are there too, for the movements that turn on a small detail. FINDING A TECHNIQUE Type the name of what you are looking for — nikkyo, katate dori. Each result shows its full path: you know where it comes from before you open it. AT THE DOJO, WITHOUT A NETWORK Videos for a module download the first time you play it. Tatami floors are rarely well covered: once the module is loaded, everything stays readable with no connection. YOUR PLAYLIST Gather the techniques you are working on right now and find them again in one gesture. Useful before a grading, or to pick up a series session after session. WHO IT IS FOR For the beginner discovering the first grips, the graded practitioner revising before an examination, the teacher preparing a class. You come back to a technique as many times as you need. AIKIDO A Japanese martial art born in the 1930s under Morihei Ueshiba, aikido — the way of harmony — is built on immobilizations and projections that seek to resolve conflict without opposing force with force.
