Great landscape photographs start before you press the shutter. LExp helps you be in the right place when the light is right - and get the exposure right when it happens. Plan sunrise and sunset, find golden and blue hour, check photographic conditions, track the Sun, calculate long exposures, work with ND filters, photograph the Moon and night sky, plan star trails and eclipses - all from one photography toolkit built for landscape photographers. PLAN THE LIGHT * Magic Hours - sunrise, sunset, golden hour, blue hour, civil, nautical and astronomical twilight, moonrise, moonset and Moon phase. * Sun Tracker - see where the Sun rises and sets for any date and location, with solar direction, elevation and azimuth. * SkyMeter Forecast - A 48-hour photographic weather forecast with intelligent sunrise and sunset colour potential prediction, cloud layers, fog, wind, photographer-focused conditions and more. GET THE EXPOSURE RIGHT * ND Filter Stacking - calculate the correct exposure when combining multiple ND filters. * Graduated ND Filters - measure the difference between sky and foreground and choose the appropriate GND strength. * Recalculate Exposure - quickly convert between ISO, aperture and shutter-speed combinations. * Moonlight & Nightscapes - exposure guidance for landscapes photographed under moonlight. * Moon Photography - calculate exposure for the Moon based on phase, conditions, focal length and camera settings. * Milky Way & Still Stars - find the longest practical shutter speed while keeping stars sharp. * Star Trails - calculate the number of frames required for the trail length you want. * Aurora Photography - exposure guidance for photographing the Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis. * Solar Eclipse Photography - calculate shutter speeds for different phases of a solar eclipse. * Lunar Eclipse Photography - exposure guidance throughout the phases of a lunar eclipse. * Velvia 50 Reciprocity - compensate for reciprocity failure when shooting Fujifilm Velvia 50. USEFUL TOOLS IN THE FIELD * Built-in long-exposure timer where supported. * Countdown alerts during long exposures. * ND filter reference charts and cheat sheets. * Flowing-water shutter-speed guide. * Fireworks photography reference guide. * Guide to locating the North and South Celestial Poles. * Additional photography notes, formulas and shooting advice throughout the app. BUILT FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS LExp is designed around real landscape and night-photography workflows: fast access to the information you need, without digging through generic weather data or doing calculations in your head. Whether you're waiting for sunrise, stacking ND filters beside a waterfall, photographing the Milky Way or preparing for an eclipse, LExp helps you spend less time calculating and more time making photographs.
