Real-time water quality forecasts Understand the health risk of swimming at your chosen location, with up-to-date guidance based on environmental monitoring, water quality modelling, weather data and forecasts, and real-time alerting of wastewater overflows. Live safety status and alerts Stay informed about current hazards including strong currents, large waves, marine life, and other risks identified by lifeguards and local authorities. Lifeguard patrol information See when and where Surf Life Saving patrols are active so you can choose safer places and times to swim. Water quality and conditions at beaches, lakes and rivers can change quickly and are not always visible from the shore. Safeswim provides up-to-date information for your local beach, refreshing every 15 minutes, and also shows water quality forecasts up to three days in advance to help you plan ahead.
