In the heart of Europe, a vibrant network known as the European Association of Hotel and Tourism Schools (AEHT) thrives, bridging gaps between education, hospitality, and tourism. AEHT, with its head office in Diekirch, Luxembourg, serves as a beacon for 400 member schools across 80% of European countries. It is a melting pot of cultures and a nexus for professional growth and excellence. Each year, AEHT hosts its flagship event—the Annual Conference and Competitions. This gathering is a celebration of talent, with seminars and academic programs designed to hone the skills of aspiring hospitality professionals. Students from diverse backgrounds compete in various disciplines, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and healthy rivalry. The Youth Parliament, another cornerstone of AEHT's initiatives, provides young individuals with a platform to discuss and simulate parliamentary sessions on pressing hospitality issues. This initiative nurtures responsible citizens and future leaders in the industry. Christmas in Europe is a unique AEHT event that highlights the continent's rich cultural tapestry. Through this festival, students and teachers alike immerse themselves in the diverse traditions and customs that define European heritage. AEHT's activities extend beyond events. The AEHT Academy facilitates encounters with industry experts, offering invaluable insights into the hospitality and tourism sectors. These engagements ensure that members are always at the cutting edge of industry trends and practices. United by values of dynamism, innovation, and cooperation, AEHT is not just an association but a family. It is a window into Europe, a builder of professional bridges, and a promoter of excellence. Through mobility programs, learning opportunities, and a vast network, AEHT prepares its members for successful careers, making it the premier network in hospitality and tourism education.
