The Tracks4Africa Companion App brings our detailed African travel content to your phone or tablet for offline use. Plan your trips on our online Trip Planner, then sync them to the app and head out with confidence; no signal required. Redesigned from the ground up to meet new functionality requirements and keep up to date with the latest requirements for offline mapping as well as pave the way for future functionality. The old Guide app served us for more than a decade already and it's time to embrace new technologies. Cross platform use. Our Trip Planner runs on any browser while our apps are made to work on your mobile device. You can switch between mobile operating systems by simply downloading the relevant app and sign in with your Tracks4Africa credentials and access all your trip planning and map content for offline use. What to expect? Base subscription for the Tracks4Africa service gives you access to our online Trip Planner, offline maps and travel content for entire Africa, similar to the Guide App but now for all regions. Download your planned trips to the app and use them offline. Your device location will be shown on the map as you travel allowing you to explore what is around you. Map cartography designed for remote travel, showing minor roads and tracks without the need to zoom in excessively. Check-in and map corrections can be logged and submitted on the fly. Maps updated regularly. How subscriptions work: Subscriptions are managed on the Tracks4Africa website (tracks4africa.co.za). Sign up, choose a plan, and your subscription unlocks the online Trip Planner and the full map and guide content for download to your device.
