Chiaro: Museum & Audio Guide app analytics for October 24

Listen while you look up. Photograph a painting, a building or a street, or choose a photo from your library. In seconds, Chiaro tells its story as an audio guide. Skip the wall text. Your eyes stay on the sight, not on a plaque or a screen. An audio guide for museums, landmarks and the streets in between, for travelers who would rather look at a city than at a phone. Chiaro means "clear" in Italian. The idea was born in Rome, from a question we kept asking: what is this, and why does it matter? LISTEN, THEN ASK - A fresco, a fountain, a carved doorway, a façade you can't place. Take a photo and listen. - Curious? Just ask. Tap a suggestion, type or speak your question. The answer becomes the next chapter. - When the answer depends on today, Chiaro checks the web: what's on, opening days, closures, this week's exhibitions. - Chiaro remembers what you've seen and what you're curious about, so later stories build on earlier ones. Read it anytime in My Memory. SEE WHAT'S WORTH THE WALK The Map shows Chiaro's picks around you, each with a line on why it's worth the walk. Scans with a location become photo pins, so your trip draws itself. Pin a place from a chat, a Filo or the map, and get directions in one tap. ASK ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE From the history of the street outside to dinner nearby. Quick questions get quick answers, big ones get depth. Chiaro replies in the language you write in. You see a map and place cards when there's somewhere to go, and a table when you're choosing between options. Sources and websites open right in the app. Tap Listen to hear any answer. PLAN TOMORROW IN ONE TAP Tell Chiaro what you feel like, or tap Surprise me. You get a plan for today or tomorrow: stops in order with rough times, walking times, what's open that day, the forecast and an indoor backup for rain. Skip, swap or undo any stop in a tap. THE STORY OF YOUR DAY On evenings after you explore, Chiaro writes the story of your day. We call it a Filo, Italian for thread. It holds what the guide had no time for, and how the things you saw connect. Tap Go deeper for a long read on any thread. Every Filo is kept in Your Filos, month by month. Spend a few days in a city and Chiaro tells the story of your stay when you move on. Come home from abroad and get the whole trip, city by city. Busy weeks get a week recap. 18 LANGUAGES, YOUR CHOICE OF VOICE Chiaro speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Turkish, Arabic, Polish, Greek, Finnish, Czech, Georgian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Choose a woman's or a man's voice, and for English, Spanish and Portuguese, the accent: US or UK, Spain or Latin America, Portugal or Brazil.
