Grandma's Cookbook is a local-first family recipe keeper for iPhone and iPad. Scan old recipe pages, keep the original handwriting or clipping, turn each page into a structured recipe card, plan the week, and print the whole family collection as a real cookbook. It is built for church binders, handwritten cards, flour-dusted notebooks, newspaper clippings, and family margin notes that deserve more than a photo album. NEW IN 3.0 - Meal Plan: put recipes on any day of the week, set servings for each meal, and get one merged, aisle-grouped shopping list scaled to the whole week. Share the week's plan as text. - Write a Recipe: type a recipe in, or paste one from a message or email and the name, servings, times, ingredients and steps are sorted out for you to check. - Recipe Card editor: fix anything the scanner misread, including ingredients, steps, servings, times and category. - Family Cookbook PDF: pick recipes from any volume and typeset them into a printable book with a cover, dedication, a contents list that runs as long as it needs, category sections, page numbers, and recipes that continue onto the next page instead of being cut off. - Complete backup: one file now keeps every page image, corrected transcript, note, tag, recipe card, cook journal entry and your meal plan. Restoring skips volumes you already have. - Cook Mode timers keep counting when the screen locks and can notify you when time is up. Check off ingredients as you measure them, and see what step comes next. What you can do: - Scan recipe pages into a named family cookbook volume, or import photos you already took - Turn a scanned page into a structured recipe while keeping the original image beside it - Use the Prep Plan to see active time, passive time, make-ahead notes and shopping needs before cooking - Scale servings and convert cups, tablespoons, grams, ounces, oven temperatures and common kitchen measures offline - Cook step by step in large text with timers pulled from the directions - Browse every recipe by category and build shopping lists from one or many recipes - Log every cook in the Cook Journal with date, rating and notes - Correct recognized text, and add tags, family notes and memories to every page - Search across recipe names, ingredients, corrected text and notes On-device text recognition reads printed and clear handwriting. You can edit anything it misses, and the original photo is always kept. A volume of bundled starter recipes is included so you can try scaling, Cook Mode, the meal plan and the cookbook PDF right away. Everything included: one purchase, no subscription. Grandma's Cookbook keeps everything on the device. There is no account, no analytics, no ads, and no cloud recipe locker.
