Star Map: Sky & Star Finder app analytics for November 2

Point your phone at the night sky and instantly identify any star, planet or constellation. Your iPhone becomes a pocket planetarium and a personal stargazing guide. • Point & identify in AR or Map mode — a live sky map labels every star, planet and constellation • Tonight — a Stargazing Index (clouds, Moon, darkness) tells you whether it is worth heading out, what is visible and the best time to look • Read about what you find — 300+ written entries covering the planets, all 88 constellations and their mythology, every Messier object and the brightest stars • Guided tours — short walks across the sky that show you what to look at and why • Astronomy calendar — solar and lunar eclipses for your location, conjunctions, oppositions, greatest elongations, equinoxes, supermoons and meteor showers scored for your sky • Time Machine — scrub to any date and explore the past or future sky • Map layers — constellation figures and boundaries, asterisms, the Milky Way, coordinate grids, the ecliptic and the horizon • The real sky — the Moon in its true phase, Saturn's rings, Jupiter's four largest moons, comets, and 150+ satellites bright enough to see • 9,000 stars and 1,800 deep-sky objects, all computed on your device • Widgets, an Apple Watch app and a full iPad layout • Night mode — a red filter that protects your night vision • No account, no ads. Your location is used to calculate celestial positions. Rounded coordinates are sent to Open-Meteo for weather; Apple uses location for place names and maps. Free to use, with an optional Pro upgrade for satellites, the full catalogue and calendar, Time Machine, guided tours and more. Star data: HYG Database (CC BY-SA). Deep sky: OpenNGC (CC BY-SA).
