Bonbon Lab is a beautifully designed puzzle game where you play the part of a pastry alchemist. Open the app and a polished marble workbench appears — at the centre, a glass beaker glows with violet elixir holding the next level. Your task is to drag one ingredient onto another. If the combination follows a real recipe, the two ingredients merge into the next stage — milk and sugar become cream, flour and egg become dough, dough and butter become pastry crust. Keep combining and the workbench fills with intermediate components — buttercreams, ganaches, sponges, glazes. Finally those intermediates merge into finished desserts. Each level has a specific order ticket — for example "Make two strawberry creams and one sponge" — and a limited number of moves. Finish the order within the move limit to earn one star. Finish quickly to earn two. Discover a bonus recipe along the way to earn three. The level map for each chapter winds along a zigzag path through a beautifully illustrated country banner — a Parisian boulevard for Patisserie of Paris, a sunlit Roman piazza for Dolce of Roma, a Kyoto temple garden for Wagashi of Kyoto, a New York deli front for Bakery of New York, a wooden Ukrainian village porch for Medivnia of Kyiv. The Cookbook is the heart of progression. Every finished dessert you create gets a beautiful illustrated card in the cookbook — a playful gamified collection rather than a textbook recipe. Each card shows the dessert's name, country of origin, the lineage of ingredients that built it, and a single line of folklore. The cookbook fills up as you discover new combinations across the chapters. The Endless Pot is a free-play mode with no move limit. Ingredients appear continuously, the workbench grows wider as you go, and a counter tracks how many desserts you discover in a single session. Your personal best is saved.
