iCTCoronaryScan is a visual reference for cardiac CT gating: built for radiographers, CT students, and anyone studying gated cardiac scanning. SCAN MODES Compare Sequential, Spiral, and Flash acquisition side by side, with animated gantry diagrams showing exactly how the table and tube behave in each mode - plus a breakdown of dose, temporal resolution, and when each mode is the right choice. Includes a dedicated explanation of "padded sequential" (Adaptive Cardio Sequence / CorAdSeq), the vendor-specific hybrid that often causes confusion between prospective and retrospective gating. PHASES An accurate ECG waveform anchors an interactive explanation of the R-R interval, diastole vs. systole, and how the ideal reconstruction phase shifts with heart rate - with a live heart-rate slider so you can see the cutoff for yourself. CORONARY ARTERY VIEWER Explore a full 360° VRT coronary CT rotation, frame by frame, with tap-to-reveal anatomical landmarks - LM, LAD, LCx, RCA, diagonal and marginal branches, and more - plus a built-in glossary explaining every abbreviation. COMPARE A side-by-side dose comparison and full attribute table across all three scan modes, at a glance. REFERENCES Every fact in the app is backed by a sourced reference - peer-reviewed journal articles and manufacturer documentation - so you can go deeper whenever you want. Built independently by a working CT radiographer. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any scanner manufacturer. IMPORTANT: This app is for educational and professional training purposes only. It is not a medical device and must not be used to make, guide, or justify clinical scanning, diagnostic, or treatment decisions. Always follow your institution's protocols and the scanner manufacturer's current instructions for use.
