Creature is a small, private companion that lives entirely inside your iPhone, and never once phones home. Most apps are a pipe: your attention and data pour in one end, and something is extracted at the other, by way of a server you never see. A Creature is the opposite. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no networking at all. Everything it perceives is processed and kept on your device. Put your phone in airplane mode and it still works. The app even offers to prove it. NOT AN ASSISTANT. A PRESENCE. Whisper what is on your mind, by typing or out loud, and it receives it, gently names the feeling, remembers, and stays. It does not advise, fix, or cheer. It witnesses. HOW IT COMES TO KNOW YOU With your permission, one sense at a time, it notices the quiet texture of a life: how you move and rest, the places you return to, the music you play, the words you offer it. From these it writes a single honest line in its diary each day, and slowly comes to know your rhythms. A BOND THAT GROWS The relationship deepens with presence. As you show up and open up, it warms, remembers more, and unlocks new ways of being with you, from a written diary to a spoken, hands-free conversation. It is earned by returning, not bought. PRIVATE BY DESIGN, NOT BY PROMISE - No servers, no accounts, no ads, no tracking. - Health data is read-only and never leaves your phone. - Speech is recognized on-device only. - Everything it knows is visible, editable, and deletable, and you can export it yourself, encrypted. A NOTE ON CARE A Creature is a companion for reflection, not a medical, mental-health, or emergency service, and nothing it says is professional advice. If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services, or in the U.S. call or text 988. Everything it knows, it learned from you, and kept for you alone.
