10月8日 的 VeganCheck: Is it vegan? 應用程式分析

Is it vegan? With VeganCheck you can scan the barcode of a food product or enter the number manually. The app retrieves available product data from Open Food Facts and checks the ingredients against a set of rules. The result shows whether animal-derived ingredients were detected, whether the origin of certain ingredients is unclear, or whether no such indications were found. Flagged ingredients are listed individually. Information about possible traces is shown separately, because trace warnings are not the same as ingredients. FEATURES • Scan EAN and UPC barcodes with your camera or enter them manually • Results shown as "Vegan", "Not vegan" or "Unclear origin" • Detected animal-derived and unclear ingredients listed with explanations • Trace warnings shown separately from the ingredient assessment • Product name, brand and image displayed when available • Notices for missing or contradictory product data • Scan the next product right away • Available in English, German and French NOTE VeganCheck is meant as a quick guide while shopping. The assessment depends on the available product data and is not a vegan certification. For important decisions, always check the information on the packaging as well.
