SLIS | Seven Lakes School app analytics for October 24

SLIS is the Seven Lakes International School app for the school's families, pupils and staff. It replaces the paper trail — the week's timetable, the homework diary, the fee slip, the note sent home — with one place that is always current. Accounts are issued by the school. If your child is enrolled at SLIS, the office will give you your sign-in; there is no public sign-up. FOR PARENTS AND GUARDIANS • Each child's day — today's lessons, where they are, and who teaches them • Homework and tests: what has been set, what is overdue, what has been marked • Marks and teacher feedback, as they are entered • Attendance, kept in view • Fees, invoice by invoice — paid, unpaid or overdue • Message your child's homeroom and subject teachers • Every child you have at the school in one app, a tap apart FOR PUPILS, YEAR 6 AND ABOVE • Your timetable, and what your next lesson is • Homework and tests, with what is due when • Your courses in mathematics, English and computing — written for your year group and the qualification it is sitting • Teaching pages and questions you work through at your own pace, earning SLIS points for answers you get right first time • Flashcards and practice quizzes, by subject and by lesson • The chess classroom: puzzles, practice, and a game against the computer FOR STAFF • Your teaching week at a glance • Take the register • Set homework, and build and schedule quizzes • Record marks and feedback • Pair with a classroom board ASK, IN YOUR OWN WORDS Everyone gets an assistant scoped to them: a pupil's reaches their own record, a parent's reaches their own children, a teacher's reaches their own teaching. For everyone except administrators it is strictly read-only — it can explain and summarise, but it cannot change the school's record. ENGLISH AND ARABIC The app runs end to end in either language, right-to-left included. Choose at first launch, change whenever you like. PRIVACY No adverts. No analytics. No tracking.
