Datapods is like a bank account for your data: manage it, protect it, and finally get a fair share of it. The data companies already collect about you is used anonymously for market research, and you get your share. Instead of having your data sold behind your back, you decide what you share. HOW YOU EARN MONEY Most of your Coins come from games, surveys and tasks. Reach levels in selected games, answer paid surveys and complete tasks to grow your balance. Cash out in euros via PayPal from €10. YOUR DATA DIVIDEND Connect your accounts at Google, Amazon, Apple, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and get your first Coins instantly. After that, a small data dividend is credited automatically, without you lifting a finger. To be clear: it's a little passive income on top, not a salary. Most of what you earn comes from games, surveys and tasks. SEE YOUR DATA Interactive charts show you what data is collected about you and where it goes. For the first time, you can see what Google and others know about you, your own privacy guard, built in. DATA BROKER REMOVAL With the built-in data broker removal tool, one tap sends GDPR deletion requests to leading data brokers. A live tracker confirms every removal. You can also check whether your email address appears in a known data breach, so you win back your privacy. OPTIONAL ON-SCREEN RESEARCH With your explicit consent, Datapods uses Android's AccessibilityService API to collect visible screen text and elements, taps, scrolling, screen changes, text in search and other input fields as you type, and app and device details. Collection is limited to the apps on our research list and starts only after you consent in Datapods and enable its accessibility service in Android settings. Password fields are excluded; messaging and email apps are not on the list. The data is sent to Datapods and stored for consumer and market research. Research customers receive only aggregated, de-identified findings, never your raw screen content or input. The service reads content and interactions without performing actions for you. Participation is optional: use Datapods without consenting, and stop collection anytime in Connections, Permissions or Android settings. WHY DATAPODS We grew out of an EU co-funded research project, built by a team in Germany. The difference: with Datapods you earn with games and surveys, get a dividend for your data and keep full control. Disconnect any source at any time. Whether you want to make money on the side, sell your data on your own terms, or simply take back control of your privacy, Datapods turns data monetization into your fair share.
