WHO THIS IS FOR You need a valid amateur radio license to operate. ECHOCAT does not transmit on its own — it controls a paired POTACAT desktop connected to your station equipment. REQUIREMENTS • An Android phone running Android 10 or later • The POTACAT desktop app (free) running on your Mac, Windows, or Linux station computer • FlexRadio SmartSDR over TCP, or any CAT-capable transceiver over USB serial • A licensed amateur radio operator (FCC Technician class or international equivalent) PRIVACY ECHOCAT does not collect QSO content, callsigns, or location for advertising. Crash diagnostics are anonymized. POTACAT Cloud stores your logbook only — never your audio. See our Privacy Policy at potacat.com/privacy. POTACAT and ECHOCAT are independent software, not affiliated with Parks on the Air (POTA), Summits on the Air (SOTA), or any radio manufacturer. 73 from K3SBP.
