Unobtrusive: they stay around the edges so your other apps stay usable. How to start: choose a pet, grant overlay if you want them on other apps, then optionally open Emoji Battery and follow the on-screen steps. —— PERMISSIONS THIS APP MAY REQUEST —— These permissions are optional and used only to display pets and the emoji battery on your screen. Mooshi does not use them to collect, sell, or share your personal data. We do not read your messages, passwords, photos, call logs, or the content of other apps. • Display over other apps Purpose: draw your chosen screen pet and, if you enable it, the emoji battery on top of other apps. We never record your screen and never read other apps. You can turn this off anytime in system settings. If you deny it, pets will not appear over other apps. • Accessibility (Emoji Battery only) Purpose: place the emoji battery on the status bar. A normal overlay cannot draw there. This is not an accessibility tool for people with disabilities. The service does NOT read screen content, messages, passwords, or notifications. It does NOT tap buttons, change settings, or collect personal data. You can disable “Mooshi Battery Overlay” anytime in Android Accessibility settings. Screen pets work without Accessibility. • Notifications Purpose: a control notification so you can hide or show pets, or turn off the battery overlay. Not used to send spam. • Run at startup Purpose: restore pets or the emoji battery after a reboot only if you already turned them on. • Ignore battery optimizations (optional) Purpose: keep overlays from being killed on some phones. We do not use battery data for advertising. • Photos / storage We do not request all-files access or broad photo-library permission. If you pick an image for a custom pet, Android’s system picker is used. The image stays on your device. You may deny or revoke any permission in Android Settings.
