Unlock the ultimate media and file management experience with IsekaiPlayer—a modern Android application engineered as both a full-featured local file manager and a high-performance universal media player. Built with Jetpack Compose and Material 3, IsekaiPlayer empowers you to seamlessly organize, manage, and play your local files, high-bitrate 4K movies, home NAS anime via SMB, and remote cloud files over FTP/WebDAV. 📂 PERMISSION NOTICE: ALL FILES ACCESS (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) To serve as a comprehensive local file manager and deliver seamless playback, IsekaiPlayer requires the "All Files Access" permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE). This permission is essential for the following core features: • Full File & Folder Management: Browse, copy, move, rename, delete, and organize files and folders across internal storage and external SD cards. • Background File Task Queue: Execute batch copy, move, and deletion operations in the background with a dedicated task queue, queue management screen, and real-time progress notifications. • Subtitle & Custom Font File Auto-Discovery: Automatically scan and pair non-media files—including external subtitles (.ass, .srt, .vtt, .sub) and custom font files (.ttf, .otf)—which standard Android MediaStore APIs strictly exclude. • Native Engine Filesystem Access: Provide direct filesystem paths to our C/C++ rendering engine (libmpv) to open and load custom ASS/SSA fonts, external subtitle files, and nested media assets. • Privacy First: Storage is accessed strictly for local file management and media playback. Your personal files are never collected, tracked, or uploaded. 🔥 KEY FEATURES 📂 Full-Featured Local File Manager • Complete Directory Browsing: Navigate nested folder structures with an intuitive breadcrumb path bar and persistent scroll position restoration. • File & Directory Operations: Copy, move, rename, and delete files, or create new directories with ease. • Collision Handling: Smart duplicate file prompts (Overwrite / Skip / Apply to All) during batch file transfers. • Task Queue Management: Track running, pending, and completed file operations with progress indicators and full queue controls. 🎬 Dual Engine Architecture (mpv + ExoPlayer) • Dual Engines: Seamlessly switch between mpv and ExoPlayer (Media3). • Dynamic Hot-Switching: Switch engines on the fly without losing your current playback position. • mpv Power: Advanced ASS/SSA subtitle styling with custom fonts (.ttf, .otf), software audio boost (up to 200%), frame-stepping, and video filters. • ExoPlayer Efficiency: Power-efficient hardware video decoding and ultra-smooth network streaming. 💬 Advanced Subtitle & Custom Font Controls • Full Subtitle & Font Support: Full rendering for styled ASS/SSA, SRT, VTT, embedded tracks, and external TTF/OTF font packages. • Independent Volume Controls: Separate system and player volume controls with up to 200% software boost under mpv. • Audio & Subtitle Sync: On-the-fly delay adjustments and multi-track switching. 🌐 Universal Network & Cloud Streaming • Multi-Source Support: Access and manage files from Local Storage, SMB (Samba), FTP, and WebDAV servers. • Built-in SMB Proxy: Low-latency streaming for large video files over local networks. • Smart Subtitle Auto-Matching: Auto-scans external subtitles and custom fonts from local storage and remote servers. 🎨 Modern Material 3 UI & Intuitive Features • Material 3 Design: Clean Jetpack Compose UI with dark mode, customizable themes, and modular shortcuts. • Smart Player Controls: Intuitive gesture controls, Picture-in-Picture (PiP), playback history, and video frame capture.
