An easy-to-use tool for discovering Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons advertising the iBeacon™, Eddystone URL, Eddystone UID or AltBeacon format. Once discovered, selected beacons can be saved and the app can be made to notify you when one or more are nearby. Note that in order to avoid the need to keep the phone in your hand with the screen on and the device awake, the managed beacon scanning features use a foreground service. That keeps the managed scan running until you stop it. The foreground service is running when you see a notification "Scanning for managed beacons". Features: • Scans for iBeacon™, Eddystone URL, Eddystone UID or AltBeacon beacons. • Notifies when selected beacons are in range. • Allows configuring the notification range for immediate, near or far distances.
