Take a broke garage band from grimy pub back rooms to sold-out stadiums — one week, one decision at a time. MEGASTAR is a deep band-management strategy game and a loving remake of the 1989 cult classic ROCKSTAR. Every week you choose one move: write songs, hit the studio, shoot a video, play a gig, book a tour, work the press... or party hard and pray it works out. Then the week plays out, the charts update, and 200 rival acts fight you for every position. FEATURES 🎸 A fully simulated music industry — 200 rival bands, genre trends, regional markets, awards nights and popularity polls 📀 Record singles and albums, chase Gold and Platinum, watch your back catalog earn royalties 🚌 Book tours from pub circuits to stadiums, stop by stop, with sell-outs, reviews and disasters 💼 Sign record deals with Dodgy Sam — advances, recoupment, label satisfaction, and deadlines that bite 🎨 Customize your band with painted character art — over a million looks across hair, outfits, colors, instruments, accessories and facial hair 🏆 Trophy cabinet, career eras, a cross-career Hall of Fame, and a full retrospective when the lights go down 🏁 Weekly Challenge — everyone plays the same band with the same luck; share your 7-character code and dare a friend to beat your exact career ❤️ Mind your health, mood, spark and focus — burnout, breakdowns and bad habits ended many a real career FREE VERSION • The complete game, ad-supported — your first 10 in-game years are free. • A single one-time unlock removes every ad and lifts the cap, forever. No consumables, no subscriptions, no accounts. • Optional sponsor spots can top up the band's cash — always your choice, never required. Based on ROCKSTAR by Wizard Games (1989). Rebuilt with love, neon and a little amp fuzz.
