Rulomi is a phone automation app that turns a written instruction into a working routine. You automate your Android phone by typing one sentence, and Rulomi builds the macro for you. Type something like "every weekday at 10 pm turn on do not disturb and set media volume to 20%", and Rulomi interprets it into a routine you can read: a trigger, the actions in order, and any conditions. Nothing runs until you have reviewed it and granted the specific Android access it needs. Common routines people set up: schedule Do Not Disturb at bedtime, change the volume when headphones connect, lower the brightness when the battery runs low, turn on the flashlight with a shake, or have one app's notifications read out loud. Triggers: a time on the days you choose, charging start or charger disconnect, a battery threshold, Wi-Fi connecting or dropping, a Bluetooth device connecting, headphones in or out, a shake, turning the phone face down, covering the proximity sensor, the room getting dark or very bright, the screen turning landscape or portrait, an app posting a notification, or when you open or leave an app you pick. Opening and leaving an app need Android's usage access, which Rulomi explains before asking. Actions: a reminder, spoken text, any of the four volumes, ringer mode, brightness, screen timeout, auto-rotate on or off, the flashlight, Do Not Disturb, a wait, and dismissing one app's notifications. Rulomi can run a routine when an app you choose posts a notification, and can read that notification out or put its words into your own reminder. This needs Android's notification access, which is the most far-reaching thing Rulomi asks for, and it is the feature that access exists for. Each notification is read on your phone, compared with your enabled routines, and let go. Nothing about a notification is stored, sent, or put in a backup. Rulomi cannot reply to a notification or press its buttons, deliberately. Private by design. Routines, history and settings stay in private app storage. A description the on-device planner understands never leaves the phone at all. If you turn on the optional AI planner, a description it cannot place is sent to be interpreted, and you can turn that off at any time. No account, no API key, no ads, no analytics. Honest about Android. Scheduled routines can be delayed by battery optimisation, and Rulomi says so when it happens rather than pretending otherwise. Motion triggers work while the screen is on, because watching them with the screen off would mean holding a wake lock, and this app will not. A focused first version: no location, no naming a specific Wi-Fi network, no replying to messages, no screen-tapping workflows.
