Pure, distraction-free flying. Welcome to Fly Vario by theFlightVario - a streamlined paragliding flight instrument that focuses on what truly matters: catching thermals and staying safe. Powered by the exact same high-end Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) technology as our flagship XC Vario, this app is built for local flyers, weekend warriors, and pilots who want a clean, straightforward display. Say goodbye to complex topographical maps and heavy routing features. Enjoy a pure, highly customizable flight deck that gives you exactly the information you need, and nothing you don't. 🎨 FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE COCKPIT You are in complete control. Fly Vario features a 100% customizable user interface. Drag, drop, scale, and arrange only the instruments and data fields you actually care about. Build your perfect, personalized layout for maximum readability at a glance. 🚀 NEXT-GENERATION VARIO ENGINE Forget the delayed beeps of traditional barometer-only apps. Fly Vario delivers instant, zero-lag feedback by cross-validating your phone's accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer with the barometric sensor. • AI Sense V3 - IMU Technology: High-end precision with outstanding location accuracy. Get the instant, true climb rate feedback of dedicated high-end hardware directly from your smartphone. • Zero-Lag Audio: What you hear is what you feel. Centering the core of a thermal becomes joyful, intuitive, and natural. • Background Mode: Save battery by running the vario continuously with your screen turned off-perfect as a reliable, audio-only vario. 🗺️ DISTRACTION-FREE NAVIGATION & THERMALLING No heavy map downloads, no visual clutter. Fly Vario uses a high-contrast black canvas to make critical flight data pop, ensuring perfect sunlight readability while saving massive amounts of battery on modern OLED screens. • Visual Thermal Assistant: Pinpoint the lift with an intuitive thermal core visualization. As you circle, your flight track dynamically shifts in color and thickness based on your climb rate intensity, making it effortless to map and center the core against the dark background. • Thermal Hotspots (KK7): Heatmap overlays guide you directly to the most likely lift without obscuring the screen. • Airspaces (openAIP): Colorful airspace visualizations keep you safe and legal. See exactly where the boundaries are against a clean black background. • Wind & Speed Data: Dual Rate GNSS and sensor fusion provide rapid, highly accurate wind direction, wind strength, and true airspeed (TAS) calculations. 📡 CONNECTIVITY & LIVE TRACKING • PureTrack & SafeSky Integration: Broadcast your location for Live Tracking and view real-time traffic information directly on your screen to vastly improve situational awareness. • Bluetooth Vario Support: Prefer an external beep? Easily connect to BLE varios-tested with BlueFly, MipBip, XC Tracer, or FlyBeeper. Got an older Bluetooth vario? No problem if it uses standardized protocols like LK8EX1 or NMEA. 📖 VALIDATED FLIGHTBOOK • Flight Track Logging (IGC & KML): Keep all your flights logged automatically in one convenient place. • Valid G-Record: Your IGC files are secured with a valid G-record for official contest claims (XContest, DHV XC, etc.). Focus on the air, not the screen. Download Fly Vario today and enjoy the purest paragliding experience!
