Avigilon Alta Open allows users to quickly and securely open a door connected to the Avigilon Alta Access Control system with their smartphone. The application works only with the Avigilon Alta Access Control system. We leverage the following technology in your phone to ensure the best door opening experience possible: Bluetooth low energy, Wifi and LTE capabilities as well as location services, the microphone, phone routing, and the accelerometer. The app uses foreground services to enable background functionality: location allows you to use the "Wave to Unlock" feature to ensure secure, proximity-based entry, microphone access ensures you can have two-way audio conversations with visitors at intercom-equipped doors, and phone call integration ensures you reliably receive intercom rings directly to your device. To ensure you are authorized as a user of your company's Avigilon Alta Access Control system, please contact your administrator, who will check to see that your email address has been added and will send you links to enable your application to be authorized and credentialed.
