TheFeed is a lightweight reader and private messenger that works over plain DNS, so it keeps working on networks where almost everything else is blocked. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • End-to-end encryption for messages (X25519, Ed25519, AES-256-GCM). • All traffic is encrypted and rides standard DNS, with random padding so message sizes cannot be fingerprinted. • No account, no phone number, no email. Your messaging identity is generated on your device from a recovery code you control. • The app runs on your own device and connects only to the servers in the config you use. Messages are end-to-end encrypted, so no server that relays them — nor anyone else — can read their contents. WORKS WHERE OTHER APPS DON'T When conventional connections are throttled or filtered, DNS usually still gets through. TheFeed uses that narrow path to deliver feeds and messages, and adapts automatically by scoring resolvers on speed and reliability. OPEN AND SELF-HOSTABLE TheFeed is open source.
