It is a Twitter video downloading app built for people who live in the timeline: sports fans saving a highlight before the post disappears, students and teachers collecting reference clips, news readers keeping a copy on file, creators backing up video they posted themselves, and anyone who wants a GIF ready to send in a chat later. No account, no sign-in, no password. HOW TO DOWNLOAD A TWITTER VIDEO 1. On the post, tap Share, then Copy link. 2. Open this app. It picks the link up from your clipboard on its own, or you can tap Paste. You can also tap Share on the post and send it straight to the app. 3. WHAT THE APP DOES - Downloads video from public Twitter posts to your phone, free - Lets you choose quality and resolution before the download starts, so you decide between a smaller file and a sharper picture, and take HD when the post was uploaded in HD - Saves Twitter GIFs as video files you can send into a chat - Reads a copied link on its own and accepts posts sent in from the share menu - Lines several links up in a queue and keeps downloading in the background while you go back to reading - Shows a download notification, so you can see where a file stands without watching the screen - Keeps a library of everything you have saved and plays any of it in the built-in player WHERE YOUR FILES GO A saved Twitter video goes into your phone gallery, next to the photos you take yourself, instead of into a folder you have to hunt for. The app keeps its own list as well, so it doubles as a Twitter video saver: open a clip, watch it in the player and pass it on without scrolling through a year of your own pictures. WHY PEOPLE KEEP IT INSTALLED Save it before it is gone. Posts get deleted and accounts get locked. A clip everybody was sharing on Tuesday can be impossible to find on Friday, and a saved copy is yours. Watch without spending data. Twitter video downloads play offline: on a flight, on the bus, or on a day when your mobile data has run out. Back up your own posts. If you post video yourself, take your own copies before you clear out an account or move to a new phone. Send it anywhere. A saved video or GIF is an ordinary file on your phone, so it goes into a message, into a class presentation, or onto a memory card. Keep a reference folder. Coaches, teachers, students and editors collect the clips at the heart of a thread, so the material is still there when the thread is not.
