05/01/26 - For sale is an Inland M1 Carbine made in 1944. The rifle retains a nice parkerized finish, with it wearing to a light grey/bare metal. The stock has been lightly sanded but is in good shape overall. The stock is marked PJ and UEF/GHD for Underwood. There is a repair behind the tang, but also a small crack that loops around back to the tang.  The bore is bright with good rifling. The rifling is showing wear towards the muzzle, and some prickling of old corrosion is visible. The rifle was rebuilt after the war and is a mix of makers and variations.

ORIGIN – ENGLAND CALIBER – 9mm BROWNING LONG WEIGHT – 32 OZ. OVERALL LENGTH – 8″ LENGTH OF MAGAZINE – 4.38″ Made until 1930, this pistol is very similar in design to the more common .32 and .380 caliber Webley pistols with a blowback operation rather than locked breech. There are two different variations. One has the magazine release button mounted in the butt, while the other has it on the left side of the grip behind the trigger. This is a straight blowback pistol of military configuration. Its only unusual feature is the type of slide release used. After the last shot has been fired and the slide is locked open, a button on the top of the slide directly on line and in front of the rear sight must be pressed to return the slide to battery. Used by the South African and Egyptian police. Variations include no grip safety, round or no lanyard loop, and rounded receiver front. Magazines are available for purchase at Triplek.com
