Most meal planners average your week. Mealbird checks every single day.
Answer a short set of questions — your goal, your body, how much you actually cook, what you won't eat, what you'd spend at the store. Mealbird builds a full week of real meals around your answers, then checks it: every day's protein and calories are added up from USDA FoodData Central and compared to your targets before the plan is ever handed to you. Not an estimate. Not a weekly average. Arithmetic, per day, shown to you.
WHAT YOU GET
• A seven-day plan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with real recipes, real portions and real cook times.
• Per-day proof. Every day carries its own protein and calorie numbers and a band showing exactly where it landed — no day is allowed to quietly come up short.
• The math, line by line. Tap any meal to see each ingredient's grams, its USDA entry, and the multiplication that produced the total.
• A shopping list that matches the plan. Grouped by aisle, priced, and checked against the budget you set. The food you eat this week and what the packs cost at the till are shown as two different numbers, because they are two different numbers.
• Repeats, if you asked for them. Say you'll cook once and eat it four times and the plan does that, and tells you which meals repeat.
• Your kitchen, your rules. Diet, allergies, ingredients you love, ingredients you'll never touch, the equipment you own, how many people you're feeding, which meals you make yourself.
• Swap a meal or eat out. Both show you what changes before anything is applied.
WHAT IT WON'T DO
• It won't guess. Every nutrition number on screen was computed from USDA data, not predicted by a language model.
• It won't quietly edit your plan behind your back.
• It won't dress an estimate up as a fact. Grocery prices are labelled as estimates, because they are. Validated nutrition is stated plainly, because it isn't.
