DataShield-Recovery Assistant app analytics for October 1

Need to recover deleted photos, videos, music, documents, or other important files? DataShield gives you a clear way to scan your device, check possible recovery results, and save the files you choose when recovery is technically possible. DataShield is built for everyday file recovery needs. Whether media was deleted by mistake, documents are missing, or you want to look for files that may still remain in device storage, the app helps you start a scan and manage results in a simple step-by-step flow. What DataShield can help with: - Search device storage for recoverable photos, videos, audio, documents, and archives - Display detected files so you can review them before saving - Let you choose specific items instead of restoring everything automatically - Save selected recovered files back to your phone - Show recovery progress and completion notifications when needed Supported file formats may include: - Photos: JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP - Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV - Audio: MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC - Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, TXT - Archives: ZIP, RAR How recovery works: 1. Select the type of file you want to recover 2. Start a scan from inside the app 3. Review the files found during scanning 4. Choose the items you want to restore 5. Save recovered files locally on your device DataShield focuses on user-controlled recovery. It does not restore files without your action, and it does not promise that every deleted item can be recovered. Recovery success depends on storage conditions, how long ago the file was deleted, and whether the original data has already been overwritten. To support file recovery, DataShield may require broader storage access than standard file pickers. This access is used for user-started scanning and recovery only. Files are processed on the device for recovery purposes and are not uploaded as part of the recovery workflow. For longer scans or restore tasks, DataShield may display a foreground notification so you can understand that recovery is still running even if you leave the app. Notifications are used for recovery status and completion information, not for unrelated promotional messages. DataShield is intended to make file recovery easier to manage through a practical scan, review, select, and save process. For the best chance of recovery, scan as soon as possible after deletion, because overwritten data may no longer be recoverable.
