Capybaba Launcher is a clean, ultra-light TV launcher for Android TV, Google TV and TV boxes: under 1 MB, instant to open with no loading wait, fast and smooth. Keep the apps you use most in front, find things with one search, and play videos from web pages in a player made for the remote. Your layout, PIN, search history and playback positions stay on your TV. Anonymous usage statistics (screens opened, time spent, device model and country) help us improve the app; turn them off any time in Settings > System > Share usage statistics. ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (AccessibilityService API) Capybaba Launcher includes an optional accessibility service, "Capybaba Launcher Accessibility Service". It stays off until you agree, and it is used only for two remote shortcuts: • Return to Capybaba Launcher when the Google TV or Android TV home screen opens. Many TVs, including Google TV, have no setting to change the home app, so this is how Capybaba Launcher can stay your home screen there. • Open an app you choose with one shortcut button on your remote. The first time you open Capybaba Launcher, it explains the service and asks for your agreement (Agree / Not now) before taking you to Android's Accessibility settings. You can open the same explanation later in Settings > Remote shortcuts. While it is on, the service receives button and key presses (remote, keyboard, game controller) but acts only on the shortcut button you chose; all other buttons work as usual. It is told when the Google TV or Android TV home screen opens. It cannot see or read the screen, and it does not save, collect or share any data: nothing leaves your device, and nothing is used for statistics or ads. You can turn it off at any time in Android Settings > Accessibility. GOOD TO KNOW • Works on Android 8.1 and later. • Continue watching and channels need the Android TV system; some TV boxes don't have it. • Capybaba Launcher does not provide movies or TV shows.
