TidyWallet: Budget & Expenses app analytics for November 1

TidyWallet is a private budget and expense tracker that keeps your accounts, budgets, spending, gold and silver in one ledger on your phone, and shows your net worth as one number. There's no sign-up and no bank login, and your records stay on your phone. Use it as a money manager across every account and currency you hold. ACCOUNTS IN ANY CURRENCY • Bank, cash, credit card and asset accounts, each in its own currency, with totals in your main currency and the exchange rate shown. • A balance the app has no rate for is listed separately, so you know when a total is incomplete. • Credit cards show what you owe and the credit left. A card can be tracked without counting a purchase and its payment twice. THINGS YOU OWN • Add gold, silver and other valuables so your net worth includes them. Values can refresh from market prices or be typed in yourself. • A Portfolio tab lists each item's quantity and value. Metals can be shown in grams, ounces or other units. QUICK ENTRY • A keypad that adds up sums such as 42.50 + 12.90. • Scan a receipt and the total, date and shop are filled in for you. The receipt is read on your phone and the photo isn't kept. Receipt scanning reads English receipts for now. • Notes you've used before fill in their category, and for a subscription the amount too. • Transfers between accounts, including accounts in different currencies. • Standing orders that post on their due date or wait for you to confirm them, and templates for entries you type often. BUDGETS • Budgets by week, month or year, or for a one-off date range such as a holiday. • A pace marker shows early when you're spending too fast, and a short sentence says where you'll finish at your current rate. • Unused money can roll over to the next period. CHARTS AND ANALYTICS • Net worth as a line or as bars, with cash and assets shown separately. • A Categories tab that works as a spending tracker, with each category's share of the month. • Every chart is drawn only from the records you enter. • Months and years can start on the day you choose, for example payday. ALSO • Categories two levels deep, which can be collapsed and merged. • Search across every year of your ledger, and a calendar view with each day's net total. • Notifications when a standing order is waiting for you or a budget is nearly spent, each with its own switch. • An optional app lock that opens with your fingerprint, face or screen lock. • Export to CSV or a PDF statement, and a backup file you can protect with a passphrase. FREE AND PAID The free plan has no time limit and no advertising, with one money account, one asset account and one budget, and this month's spending in Analytics. TidyWallet Plus, a subscription, adds unlimited accounts and budgets, full Analytics (income, net and any time range), the cost and gain of each holding, and backup to your own Google Drive, once or every day. Upgrading doesn't change anything you've entered, and neither does going back to the free plan. YOUR DATA There is no account with us and no server holding your records. The app goes online to fetch exchange rates and prices for the currencies and assets you track (never your amounts), and contacts your Google Drive only when you back up or restore. Google Play's billing library and, when you scan a receipt, Google's ML Kit send Google their own diagnostics, never your records. Details are in the privacy policy at tidywalletapp.com/privacy.
