Our carbon fibre tubes are manufactured with a high volume fraction of carbon fibre in a vinylester or epoxy matrix. We manufacture a wide range of unidirectional tubes from 3mm up to 12.7mm in diameter. Unidirectional carbon fibre tubes provide great mechanical properties and give the maximum longitudinal strength. Carbon tubes 14mm and above in diameter are pullwound and manufactured in an epoxy matrix. The carbon fibre is multiple-layered, unidirectional carbon fibre with an internally pull braided carbon fibre at 80° across the axis, and externally wound with a 37° double helix braid providing exceptional mechanical properties resistant to bending and torsional forces with a smooth surface finish.
