LocalStream File & Server App-Analysen für 21. Oktober

CORE FEATURE: FILE MANAGEMENT & BROWSING The primary purpose of LocalStream4K is to be a powerful, user-friendly file manager. Our app's core functionality is to allow you to browse and manage all your files, not just media. This includes: Non-Media Files: Access, open, and manage documents (PDFs, Office files), ZIP archives, and APKs. All Folders: Browse your device's entire file system, including the Download folder. External Storage: Access and manage files on connected USB drives and SD cards. This file management is essential for all other features of the app. The MediaStore API is insufficient as it cannot see non-media files or browse these locations. This is why the app requires "All Files Access." MEDIA SERVER (UPnP/DLNA & HTTP WEB UI) Once you've organized your files, use the built-in media servers to stream and manage them across your network. Stream videos, music, and photos to your Smart TV, console (PS/Xbox), or PC. Full UPnP/DLNA compatibility, now featuring advanced sorting and subtitle options. New HTTP Web Server: Access your device via a web browser! Now features built-in audio and video web players, drag-and-select file management, full folder uploading, and the ability to extract ZIP files remotely. SMB Support: Connect to network shares safely with newly added password authentication support. REMOTE ADB CONTROLLER Manage your other Android devices (like an Android TV) directly from the app over Wi-Fi. Use a remote D-Pad, keyboard, gamepad, and mouse. New Satellite Channels Support: Access and manage satellite dish channels directly from the ADB dashboard. Enhanced Screen Mirroring: Now includes a convenient floating button for easier control during casting. Improved ADB Tools: Upgraded ADB file manager, app manager, and core shell commands for a smoother experience. Install APKs, clear cache, take screenshots, and reboot your device remotely. BUILT-IN PLAYERS & TV APP For convenience, the app includes built-in players to open the files you are managing. Play local videos from your device or USB drive with improved subtitle settings and customization. Listen to your music with a full-featured audio player. Optimized TV App: The Android TV interface has been heavily improved for better navigation and performance. KEY FEATURES Browse and Manage all files (PDF, ZIP, APK, etc.). Access Internal Storage, SD Cards, and USB Drives. Stream media with the UPnP/DLNA server (with custom sorting). Powerful Web UI with drag-and-drop, folder uploads, ZIP extraction, and web playback. Control devices with the ADB controller (featuring Satellite channels and floating mirror controls). Play local videos and music with advanced subtitle support. Secure SMB network access with password support. A NOTE ON PERMISSIONS: "ALL FILES ACCESS" This app's core, main, and primary functionality is File Management. The MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE ("All Files Access") permission is required for this core feature to work. Without this permission, the app is "broken" and unusable because: It cannot see non-media files (like PDFs, DOCs, ZIPs, APKs). It cannot access the Download folder. It cannot access external USB drives or SD cards. The MediaStore API is not sufficient as it only provides access to media files in media folders, which breaks the app's core file management purpose.
