This, in combination with the material’s ability to resist most strong acids and bases at relatively high temperatures and concentrations, make the perfect candidate for tanks and chemical handling.   We also commonly have customers requesting polypropylene sheets for OEM parts. On top of the material’s resistance to organic solvents and degreasing agents, it has a low coefficient of friction and high impact resistance so it will last longer with less maintenance.   Polypropylene is a homopolymer which is similar to a copolymer.  The primary difference is that copolymers have a higher impact strength when compared to homopolymers.
